The Indian Army has activated the TES 55 SSB Date Selection Link on its official website. All shortlisted candidates can now log in through the Join Indian Army portal and choose their SSB date from the available slots.
The Technical Entry Scheme (TES 55) is a special entry route for 12th-pass students who have:
- 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM)
- A valid JEE Main scorecard and rank
Applications for TES entry are accepted online, and shortlisting is done based on JEE Mains rank. Candidates who clear the shortlisting stage are invited for the SSB Interview, followed by a medical examination.

Indian Army TES 55 Training Details
Candidates who clear the SSB Interview and medical examination will undergo 4 years of integrated training at top military academies.
Phase I: 3 Years at Cadet Training Wings (CTWs)
Integrated Basic Military Training + Engineering Training at:
- CME, Pune
- MCTE, Mhow
- MCEME, Secunderabad
This phase includes military discipline, physical conditioning, and academic training as part of the B.Tech program.
Phase-II: 1 Year at IMA, Dehradun
The final year of training takes place at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, where cadets refine leadership skills, enhance military proficiency, and prepare for commissioning.
After completing all four years, cadets are awarded a B.Tech degree and commissioned as Permanent Commission officers in the Indian Army.
